EYEARN
Jaff’s Loyalty Program
EYEARN is the loyalty program of Jaff’s Optical House and Jaff’s Eyecare, designed to reward our customers every time they shop with us. With EYEARN, you earn points that can be used like money on future purchases. Points can be earned and redeemed both online and in-store at Jaff’s Optical House and Jaff’s Eyecare.
How EYEARN Works
1. Join the Program
When you sign up for EYEARN, you will automatically receive:
50 welcome points
Since 1 point = 1 Kenya Shilling, your welcome reward is worth KES 50.
You can join the program:
• In-store at Jaff’s Optical House and Jaff’s Eyecare
• Online through our website
Earn Points When You Shop
Members earn 5% back in points on eligible purchases.
Points can be earned on both:
• In-store purchases
• Online purchases
Example
If you spend KES 10,000, you earn:
500 points = KES 500
These points can later be used as a discount or payment towards future purchases.
When Points Are Credited
Points are credited once an order has been fully completed and fulfilled.
After fulfilment, points will become available in your membership account 20 days later.
Example
If your order is fulfilled today and you have received your goods, the points from that purchase will be available to use 20 days after the fulfilment date.
Eligible Products for Earning Points
Points are earned only on the following categories:
• Spectacle Frames
• Spectacle Lenses
• Sunglasses
Points cannot be earned on other products or services.
Redeeming Points
Points can be used like money on future purchases.
Points can be redeemed on both:
• In-store purchases
• Online purchases
Example
If you have 500 points, you can use them as:
KES 500 off your purchase
Points can be used on any product available through Jaff’s Optical House and Jaff’s Eyecare, regardless of whether that product originally earned points.
There is no limit on the number of points that can be redeemed in a transaction. Members may use their full available points balance if they choose.
Using Points with Discounts
Points can be combined with promotional discounts or offers.
This means customers may apply a promotional discount and then use their EYEARN points to further reduce the purchase price.
Referral Rewards
EYEARN also rewards you for referring friends and family.
When you refer a new customer
1. Your friend registers using your referral code
2. They receive 50 welcome points
3. You also receive 50 referral points
When your referred friend makes their first purchase
Your friend earns:
5% back in points on their purchase.
Example
If they spend KES 10,000
They receive 500 points
Because they used your referral code at checkout, you receive:
2.5% of their purchase in points
Example:
KES 10,000 purchase = 250 points for you
Referral rewards are credited only after the referred customer’s first order has been successfully completed and fulfilled.
Important Referral Rule
Referral rewards apply only to new customers.
Once a customer has joined the EYEARN program and completed a purchase, they are considered an existing member and cannot generate referral rewards for another member.
However, all members continue to earn 5% points on their own purchases.
Points Value
EYEARN points have a simple value:
1 Point = 1 Kenya Shilling
Points:
• Cannot be exchanged for cash
• Cannot be withdrawn
• Can only be used as store credit with Jaff’s Optical House and Jaff’s Eyecare
Points Expiry
All points expire 18 months (1.5 years) from the date they are earned.
Any unused points after this period will automatically expire.
Order Cancellations and Refunds
If an order is cancelled or refunded, any points earned from that purchase will be deducted from the member’s points balance.
Important Terms
To ensure fairness and proper use of the program:
• Points are non-transferable
• Points can only be used by the registered member
• Points cannot be transferred to another customer
• Points cannot be exchanged for cash
• Points may be earned and redeemed online and in-store
• Jaff’s Optical House and Jaff’s Eyecare reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if the loyalty program is misused or abused
• Jaff’s Optical House and Jaff’s Eyecare reserve the right to adjust, update, or modify the EYEARN program terms when necessary
• Jaff’s Optical House and Jaff’s Eyecare reserve the right to interpret, apply, and make final decisions regarding the EYEARN loyalty program rules, benefits, rewards, and eligibility at their sole discretion
